Husband Home to Recuperate from Surgery – Many Adjustments Ahead – We Learn Rules for Walking, Sitting, Standing, Stretching, and Certain Moves NOT to Make and Exercises to Aid Healing – Dealing with New Challenges – Life Will Not Be the Same – In the End – No More Pain – Much to Gain –

Steve 2Carol Ann will be driving for quite some time. Uh…

Steve has edema in his thigh from surgery. He says the skin on his thigh feels like it might split open from the strain, but we looked at images of edema on the Internet. We saw cases worse than Steve’s and the skin, although extremely stretched, did not pop. This was some comfort.

The bottom line is this:

God is good. Steve’s hip is good. Life is good.

Thank you to all who prayed for Steve and me. May every desire of your hearts be yours.

About Carol Ann Ritchey

I hope Steve’s recovery will go well with minimal pain and discomfort. Physical Therapy might be rough, but it will help a lot.

    • Thank you, Joyce. I appreciate you. The doctor did not prescribe any physical therapy. He said that everything Steve needed he could do at home with my help. Unusual? I think so, but I’m glad. He is remembering to do the exercises he should do, and he is being careful not to make moves that are denied until his hip is truly settled in its proper place and healed. Blessings to you…
