God is good – I know He is – Know He is…
From the beginning – in the garden –
The lie was spoken by the serpent –
The message implied by the liar – who said-
Did God really say — The liar’s innuendo
Meant to lead to a conclusion –
A false conclusion – that God – supposed
To be good – was really not – That God’s
Motivation was deceitful – meant to
Deprive –
The Liar still speaks by insinuation – suggestion –
Implication – saying God is not good –
Not to you – God may be good to some –
But God is not good to you –
God is good – I know He is – Know He is…
Resist the temptation to believe a lie –
How do we know that God is good –
Look at the cross – Remember –
It was God’s love that slew His Beloved Son –
That no Evil One may point a finger at us –
No accusation may be leveled against us –
Jesus paid it all at Calvary – suffered once for all –
Overpaid our debt of sin – the slate is clean –
Because God is GOOD – Jesus is proof that
God is good – Savior to all that believe –
That we may be free – that we may have
All His blessings and no curses –
What about trouble – When trouble comes –
And it always comes – NO – WRONG – that’s a lie –
What makes it a lie – trouble doesn’t ALWAYS
Come – Watch out for the suggestion – the overtone –
The exaggeration – Yes – Trouble comes – yes –
Trouble comes sometimes – not always –
What then –
God is good – I know He is – Know He is…
Talk about it…Talk about it…Speak it…Believe it…

Genesis 3:1 – The Bible (KJV) – Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
John 3:16-17 – The Bible (KJV) – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Psalm 34:1-8 – The Bible (KJV) – I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of The Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Refreshing word. It’s always good to remember our enemy is powerless against us. Blessings to you.

When hard times come it’s easy to rage at God because He has the power to make troubles disappear.
We must have faith. God never promised us a rose garden.

I’ve had my times of raging. Yes, God has power to make troubles disappear, yet we all have them. When they are oppressing us, we feel bad; when they are removed, the memory of them seems far away. I love reading the Psalms where David praises God because he was delivered from all his distress. The best hope is believing there will be a trouble-free eternity. Here we have no promise of a trouble-free life, but eventually, someday, we may have that rose garden. Blessings to you, Maxi…

Lies have been around since almost the beginning, and they have a way of taking on the appearance of truth. God IS good, in troubles and not.

Hi Janna. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Yes, God IS good, in good times and bad. It’s easy for me to get confused. When I do, I stop and think about the cross. That clears up my perspective. Blessings to you, Janna…
