Springtime

Oak trees wear spring green again
Cherry branches don pink hats
Butterflies flutter wings in wind
Daisies play brides in wedding dress

Oh, if only it looked like spring outside! We got some snow today…only a dusting tho–was supposed to be 12 inches, but the storm missed us, thank goodness! 😉

LOVE that last line…makes me think of my oldest sister’s wedding many years ago…I was sent out in the fields to pick daisies for the bridal bouquets!

    • You do so many wonderful things out in nature. Others would have gone to the flower shop, but you went out in the fields to pick daisies! Thank you for stopping by and for your delightful comment. Blessings to you, Suzi…

Daisies and daisy like flowers are my favorites. They seem such happy flowers in their pretty dresses.

Beautiful poem, love the imagery! I never thought of daisies dressing up since they’re so simple, but that description fits perfectly! 🙂

I just love the photos you picked to go with your poem. Especially the butterfly – I absolutely love butterflies!

We skipped spring and went right to summer – it was 100 degrees today. It’s supposed to get back to spring next week, though 🙂

I love your photos. There’s no flower came out in Korea. Night is still cold, I think winter is getting lead. Come faster, SPRING! 🙂

    • Greetings to you, Jguno. I hope spring will come fast in Korea. Night is chilly here, still, but that’s a good thing. I’m very happy to see green and colorful blooms again. Thank you for your visit and for your comment. Blessings to you, Jguno…

I want to be where those pictures were taken! At least we have sunshine today…for a few hours. Thanks for bringing the beautiful side of spring to us.

    • Almost all my photos come from Microsoft Office from their clip art collection for Microsoft Windows Office users. All four of these came from there. I checked each photo for you to see what each one said. Sometimes they will say what country or city, but these did not tell me where they were taken. Truly they are lovely. I’m sure Microsoft finds the best to offer their customers. Thank you for your comment, Patti. I wish I could take such lovely photos myself. Blessings to you…

    • Thank you for stopping by, ladynimue. I appreciate your comment. I, too, love cherry blossoms. We used to have five cherry trees. They are beautiful trees, and their fruit is special. I made cherry jam with most of them. We ate a lot of cherry jam, and also gave away lots of cherries to anyone that would pick them. Blessings to you…
