Have You Heard the Love Song (Revised)

God loves each one
Some are blessed with riches
Some with life’s simplicity –
Each is gifted by our Maker
With innate nobility

Designer fashioned –
Each one with DNA –
All uniquely crafted
By Creator God – we
Were made by Deity

Have you heard that
Death marred our DNA

Jesus came to pay for sin
Listen to the love song play –
Hear it – birds sing it

His eyes were on you –
You mattered so much it hurt
The Son of God – it cut
Him as He died – He loved
All but would this win you

Hear the love song play
the price in blood was paid –
Blood for blood the price –
To take away the sin
So we could enter in

Have ears to hear
Your destiny cries out
Don’t waste eternity
Hear the voice of Jesus
Calling – calling you

Proverbs 22:2-4 –The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all. A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honor, and life.

Genesis 2:7 – The Bible – And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:21-24 – The Bible – And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

2 Peter 3:9 – The Bible – The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 5:6-9 – The Bible – For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

John 3:16-17 – The Bible – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 10:13-15 – The Bible – 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

  1. I apologize to those kind commentators whose comments I inadvertently lost in my creative (but inadequate) efforts to revise the voice in this post. Your comments were appreciated. I didn’t intend to lose them. I am the techo-peasant (duh – where’d they go?) that Jane described in one of her posts. Blessings to all…
