The Road

  • The Road
  • The road’s been rough
  • The journey long
  • No heart to travel on
  • The road ahead
  • Seems steeper yet
  • Shoes worn
  • Clothes torn
  • Best to lay the body down
  • Let the weary traveler rest
  • No more desire
  • For further test
  • No strength
  • No hope
  • Just sweat
  • Then a glint
  • Of Him through
  • Eyes of faith see
  • Glistening streets
  • Of gold
  • Not far away
  • Awake pilgrim
  • You’re not home yet
  • Take one more step

About Carol Ann Hoel

The new me - Carol Ann. More suitably said, the old me in new circumstances of life. Again. My history has developed in parts and chapters. In person, I am Wife, Mom, Grandma, Author, and Writer, in that order, more or less. Life is good because God is good.
