Broke My Wrist – Wrist Has Healed – Good Doctors and Physical Therapist Did Good Work – God Blessed – My Wrist Is Back in Service –

I heard the bone break. I refused to believe it for about 24 hours. After all, I could move it a little without pain, so I thought it must not be broken, even though the swelling, bruising, and hand drooping sideways from the afflicted wrist seemed to beg for medical attention. Steve finally insisted we go to an urgent care center. Yes, it was broken and a cast was applied.

My greatest and most marvelous blessing in this entire ordeal was not having to endure pain. I was supposed to be in great pain from a broken bone, but I wasn’t. Not at the beginning nor at any time during the healing process did I experience pain. I praise the Lord for this. He bore my pain at Calvary.

    • Thank you, Janna. You have a beautiful and happy Christmas, too. Thank you for your comments. Sorry for my long reply. I’m bubbling over with passion for something. Passion for Jesus and gratitude for His blessings. I didn’t like breaking my wrist. I wanted God to fix it immediately. Zap! But that didn’t happen. I am thankful that it has healed and it actually works again. I had no idea it would come out of the cast limp and useless! I never gave it a thought. Physical therapy did wonders.

This phone is killing me. Passion should have been pain. I hope you fix that! My goodness…

    • I have always hated pain. About a year ago, when I read that Jesus bore my pain, my ears perked up. I checked it out in the Bible and was convinced that I shouldn’t have to feel pain. Prior to breaking my wrist I already was refusing to endure pain with good success. I know that may sound absurd to most people. There was a day when I was part of another denomination, which taught that miracles were only for the early church. Now I live and move among people that believe healing and miracles are for us today. There is strength in numbers. It is easy to believe what others believe, especially when the Bible actually says it, also, and they get good results, and so do I. What we believe is what we get, generally speaking, including Bible promises. We have to have a reason to believe something. We need substantiation. Do you agree? I’m trying to plant a seed and hoping people will check out the Bible and the Lord will lead them to the truth, especially people that need to be healed.

I wasn’t sure what you meant by the relationship between passion and pain. “This phone is killing me.” Ha! I say things like that all the time. It’s a life habit. Think how bad it would be if the phone could kill us. I can’t change my habits overnight. God loves me, I say so, because the Bible says so? If God be for us, who can be against us? The Bible says we can have what we say. (Mark 11:23-24). I sometimes say my head aches (because it does). Then I’ll remember that I can have what I say, so I say: “My head feels fine!” You wouldn’t think that would help, but it does. I haven’t taken a Tylenol in about a year and a half or two. Let the devil have a headache. Blessings to you, Janna. Merry Christmas…

    • I tried tennis years ago. All I did was run after balls. Boxing – wow! I think you are right. I must refrain. Ha ha. I don’t think about my right wrist being vulnerable until I’m in the middle of something and it’s not pulling its fair share. Then I remember and give it a break. Merry Christmas! Blessings all year and every year…
