Barbecue Pulled Pork from Country Style Pork Ribs Slow Cooked in Cast Iron Skillet – Quickly Prepared Honey Barbecue Sauce for a Sweet Finish –

Pulled Pork 3Steve likes country-style pork ribs with barbecue sauce. It’s one of his favorite dishes. Today I turned it into pulled pork by slightly changing the recipe.

Pulled Pork 2Standing over the stove preparing my own tomato-pineapple barbecue sauce is time consuming. Instead, I used a Honey Barbecue Sauce recipe from allrecipes.com. This sauce requires no cooking and there is no tomato in it, so it doesn’t hurt the surface of my cast iron skillet. If you make the sauce ahead of time, store it in refrigerator. How easy is that? Click the link if you want this simple recipe for barbecue sauce.

Pulled PorkPulled Pork 3Brown boneless country style pork ribs in olive oil and butter. Add a little water, cover and simmer until tender enough to pull apart with a fork. After pulling the pork apart, add a few scoops of the honey barbecue sauce. Heat briefly and serve.

Looks delish! What time is dinner? Without the time zone difference, I should be able to make it if I hurry. 😉 Blessings to you!
