Oh Believer – There is No Spot in You

thinking businessmanDid you fall – Did you hurt
Someone you love so much –
Did you miss the mark –
Or speak a lie –

Oh Believer – there is no spot in you –
Your righteousness is a gift
Jesus gave –

Every sin and every curse
Fell on Christ at the cross –
He received our judgment –
Paid our debt –

Believer – never doubt His finished work –
We are His masterpiece – His bride –
Jesus died –

We are the righteousness of God –
In Christ – We trust his finished work –
Once tried – with Him –
We died –

The Father gave His only beloved Son –
Once only – to die for sin –
We live in Him –

The Accuser cries – you must die –
You broke the law again –
Jesus says – I died –
You abide –

Oh Believer – there is no spot in you –
Do not run or fear or hide –
Stay by His side –

Past – present – and future sins
He paid for when He died –
Eternity and more
Belong to you –

Oh Believer – there is no spot in you –
Your righteousness is a gift –
Rest in Him –

Song of Solomon 4:7 – The Bible – KJV – Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.

Hebrews 10:12-17 – The Bible – KJV – But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Romans 4:3-8 – The Bible – KJV – … Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

John 19:30 – The Bible – KJV – When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

I Thessalonians 5:9-10 – The Bible – KJV – For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – The Bible – KJV – For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
