Inadequate am I
Lacking in wisdom
So many choices
To make
One moment to decide
No time to contemplate
Follow my heart
I decide
I call on my God
From the cliff where I hang
Dangling in air where
For rescue I wait
Time to think now
While knuckles are white
Was this a mistake
Or was it right
My LORD’s chariot arrives
From the cliff I depart
I land safe in his cart
Love divine
Don’t complain
Don’t explain
He says get in
I ride high
But why am I here
Inadequate am I
Lacking in wisdom
But rich in His grace
I return his embrace
Look full in His face
See scars on His brow
Covering my disgrace

Romans 4:7 … Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Lovely poem!!!!!

She does. we both know it. Just like a mother picks up her child from mud without even looking at her own clean dress so does she.
your pen is blessed by God herself. God bless you for blessing us with these beautiful poems.

If you are talking about the child inside me then thanks for the blessing. Well, I dont have a child, I am yet to marry (you know India, its orthodox in its value, so marriage comes first, then children) 🙂

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
I had to look it up.
Thank you for reminding me of this beautiful verse.

To me this is like a metaphor of Enoch’s experience: “It was faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up.”
That close relationship…

Ah. Yes, Enoch disappeared and the Bible says God took him. Cool! Like he will take believers out of this troubled earth before the Tribulation comes… God is good, and he is so kind. The events I described as “hanging from a cliff” would have left my husband and me in disastrous straits, but by means as miraculous as the account in my post “God Answers Prayer”, he carried us out of danger. I will never stop praising Him for it. Thank you for your comment. Blessings to you…
