Good Morning, Great Big Beautiful Word! God Loves You All and Wants to Bless You –

Boy Smelling Daisy

John 3:16 – The Bible (KJV) – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 16:33 – The Bible (KJV) – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Language is how we communicate. Translations from one language to another can be complex. Also, words may have more than one meaning in any language, for instance, notice two uses of the word world in the above scriptures:

John 3:16 – world – the whole body of living persons –

John 16:33 – world – the universe especially when it is understood as an ordered system –

God loves people, as in John 3:16.

The world system is the cosmos, or the complicated situations in which we live, as referred to in John 16:33. Jesus has overcome the world systems and troubles that bind us.

  1. Probably not the thoughts of innocents trapped in 2 dozen war zones around the world.

    • The Lord’s desire to bless people extends to all. He told us to go and tell so all might know. You always have those people on your heart, Carl; while I tend to forget them all too easily.

Romans 10:13-15 – For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Missionaries must go to the people of the world and tell them the good news. Have we gone or have we sent others to go to all these lands? Faith comes by hearing. They must hear. We must go and tell.

This is the answer I found when I went searching through the scriptures. I know that I know that God loves them. I don’t really have the answer that you are looking for. I hope you will find it someday.

  2. Yes. doubt if I will find the answer. Probably not as beyond human understanding and merely accept God’s will good or bad. Yes but no matter what the bad news, the good news remains.
