Dashing through…NO…Carefully reading BUDDY FOR DAVID…

photo (5)The time has come for my very last proofread of the paperback version of Buddy for David. After this, it will roll off the press.

I cannot picture in my mind how a book is produced on a printer. How does it roll off the press? Flip, flip, flip, flip, and then FLOP! The book, with its magnificent jacket (book cover) expertly created by CrossLink Publishing’s talented graphic design staff! (I am very pleased with the cover.)

I’ve read the manuscript many times over during my own review and editing process. This time I’ll be proofreading for any possible errors encountered in the print process. It won’t be long before I can hold it in my hand. I hope it will be read by others, and that all who read will be as blessed, as I was to write it.

Oh, I’m SO excited for you Carol Ann! I used to be a book-binder apprentice at the University of Glasgow. We reprinted and recovered valuable books that had been damaged. It is a fascinating process. If you can you should go to see the printing process. If the press is nearby I’m sure they wouldn’t mind you being there to see your first books pressed.

Looking forward to seeing a picture of your finished book here in the very near future. 🙂

    • What a great suggestion. I wish I could do it, but CrossLink Publishing is located in South Dakota. I live in Arizona. Someday I hope to meet the staff of my publishing company. I owe them a debt of gratitude. Thanks for stopping by and for your encouraging words. Blessings to you…

Finally getting to my backlog of blogs. Better do it while my computer is cooperating! This is good news, that you like the cover they created for your book.
