Sun rays stream through windows
Suggesting spring draws near
Yet chilling winter winds
Still sweep
Soon there’ll be no doubt about it

Daniel 2:19-21 – The Bible – Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning…
I’m really looking forward to spring. So much snow here in Nova Scotia this winter. Your blossom picture looks very inviting right now. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by, Laura. I’m yearning for spring, too. It’s not as cold here as in Nova Scotia, but this year has been colder than most. Texas doesn’t get much snow, but this year we got more than usual and more cold. Blessings to you…

Ditto on looking forward to spring. I can’t imagine living as far north as you do! I’ve heard it is beautiful up there, though.

I live in Texas. 🙂 Laura lives in Nova Scotia. She’s the author of a book entitled Bitter, Sweet. I’ve read it and it’s great. Nova Scotia is way up north. I’m sure it’s very cold there in winter. I have been in Texas less than two years. I spent fifteen years in Florida where it’s really warm. I will be very glad for spring.
Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. Blessings to you, Patti…

Beautiful words, as usual, Carol. We have rain this evening. Am I being too optimistic to think we are getting our April showers early? 🙂

Springtime is beautiful, especially when frostbitten plants shed the brown leaves for new growth. I’m just not looking forward to the months of triple-digit heat that follow spring…

Yes, Janna. Spring is beautiful, probably everywhere, but for many of us it means the triple digit hot weather comes next. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. May our spring be beautiful and our summer pleasant, too. Blessings to you, Janna…

Me, too. Ha! Vaguely I remember that it’s the cat’s meow and I want to see it now. 🙂 Like this winter, it could bring some of us excesses we don’t want. I pray not. The weather has not seemed like our friend. I hope that the deep freeze killed off lots of viruses, or something else good for us. Thank you for stopping and for your comment. Blessings to you, Zoe…
