Steve and I spend leisure time working on our first jigsaw puzzle together. We thought we would have lots of spare time in our new RV life, but it hasn’t happened that way. Still, we find time for relaxing. We hope we will finish this fantastic puzzle soon before a windy day blows it away. Ha ha. Really, it could happen.
The screen room has blown over a few times during strong winds. It was a simple process to reconstruct it, but if our puzzle is swept away, we will be disappointed. The screen room should be constructed on ground like a tent, because stakes driven in the ground are meant to hold it up. Our screen room stands (or falls) on a cement slab. Three stakes stuck in the ground on the edges of the pavement hold three sides of the screen room securely, but one side is supported by Steve’s ingenious invention, a five gallon container of water fastened to the appropriate pole. We will see if it holds when the wind picks up again. Of course, we prefer to finish the puzzle before the wind blows.
I haven’t done a jigsaw puzzle in years. They don’t go well with cats.

This is my first jigsaw effort after many years. I cannot remember the last time I worked a jigsaw puzzle. I can picture a cat walking across a jigsaw in progress, using paws to play with pieces. Ha ha! Blessings to you, Patricia…

I have a jigsaw app on my Kindle now. It’s ok but not as fun as a real puzzle.

You’re living in an RV? Or just travelling for now? That must be fun!

Thanks for stopping by, Miss Dinie. Yes, we live in an RV full time. We are new at this and haven’t yet begun to travel. We plan to start out soon. My husband has been poring through a pile of manuals for operation and maintenance of this coach. Whew! Lots to learn. We are having fun anyway. Blessings to you…

What a lovely bird puzzle! Our family likes to put them together, too. Hopefully, all the pieces of your screened-room puzzle will hold together. It looks like a lovely spot to be outside, but inside, too.

W e are concerned that there is one missing piece, because we have both searched for it and cannot spot it. We won’t know for sure until we have finished the puzzle. We hope we are wrong. Steve wants to glue the puzzle into a picture to hang on the door to the basement. Ha ha. He doesn’t like the idea of taking it apart and putting it back in the box. I explained how my family would let the finished puzzle sit for a few days so we could admire it. Then we would put it back in the box for another day.
