My husband Steve has a new upper denture. He needs foods that don’t have to be chewed until the transition is complete. It’s been a challenge, but he has found ways to eat even in restaurants. Today I’m cooking chicken soup from four large thighs. I will put the meat and vegetables for his portion in the food processor. We may eat it tomorrow and go out for lunch today, because I would like to chill the soup so I can remove the top layer of chicken fat before I serve it.
I have not been cooking as much as I once did. We have a gas grill outside. Steve does the grilling. On other days the chicken thighs have been deliciously prepared on the grill by my experienced and talented grill-cooking husband. All grilling has stopped for now. I look forward to the day it begins again.
I need to teach my hubby to cook–but he’s not interested! LOL It looks like you have less kitchen to clean! Not a bad thing. (As long as you have room to work.)

I make as large a mess when I cook now as I did when my kitchen was spacious. Ha! I like cooking, but one thing I don’t know how to do is grill on a gas grill outside. I guess my hubby needs to train me, but I think I feel like your hubby does. Not interested that much in learning.
