Believer – How is your Mood Today – If You’re Not in a Good Mood – Cheer Up – We Are the Righteousness of God in Christ – Jesus Paid it All – On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand – All Other Ground Is Sinking Sand –

If I’m not in a good mood, I should be. I am loved. Jesus Christ gave Himself for me (us) so I am (we are) eternally blessed. He removed the curse of the law at Calvary. We are freed from condemnation forever. Jesus paid it all. Believers are united with Him through His Holy Spirit that dwells in us. If God be for us, who can be against us? God is in a good mood when he looks at His dear Son, and we are hidden in Christ. As He is in this world, so are we. We may experience troubles here on earth, but cheer up. Jesus has overcome the world.

Emphasis is mine – there is no color in the text.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – The Bible (NIV) – God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Galatians 3:13 – The Bible (NIV) – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

Romans 8:1 – The Bible (NIV) – Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

John 14:15-18 – The Bible (NIV) –  “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

Romans 8:30-32 – The Bible (NIV) – And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Matthew 17:5 – The Bible (KJV) – While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

1 John 4:17-19 – The Bible (KJV) – Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.

1 John 4:17-19 – The Bible (NIV) – This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.

John 16:33 – The Bible (KJV) – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Thank you for what you said, it really hit me and frankly caused me to take heart, especially the last part about how Christ has overcome the world. That is so true, and it really gives me courage when I am going through a hard time or struggling with something. Just to know that he has overcome the world and because of that, through him I can be cleansed and make it back to my father in heaven and that no matter what I go through or whatever temptation I face, i can help me get through it or overcome and resist it. This knowledge gives me great comfort and courage, especially when it has been a hard day or in times of darkness. Thank you so much. Do you go to a particular faith or are you just Christian on your own?

Thank you so much for the link, I looked it up and I liked how you said that the promises and salvation, provision, and healing that God gave to his saints in the ancient times is available to us today. It is so true! In addition to what you said in your post I also would like to let you know that God has re-established his church that he organized in ancient times, on the earth today and has given us his Gospel in its purity and fullness. It is such a beautiful and freeing thought to know that God is there for us now as well as in times of old. Thank you for standing for what you believe.

    • Yes, the pure gospel is being preached more and more. Some are calling it The Gospel Revolution. This is an exciting time to live. Thank you for your comments, Sister-Kaitlyn. Blessings to you…

Thank you! Blessings to you too. So when did you become a Christian?

    • I’ve been a Christian many decades. I was a child around 7 or 8 years old when I heard the gospel and believed. A family friend who had witnessed to my mother took me to church with her family, When the altar call was made, my mother’s friend allowed me to walk up to the front by myself. I’ve belonged to Jesus ever since. Not much was made of it at the time. I doubt that she told my mother what happened. It meant a lot to me. My parents called me the little evangelist because I sang Jesus Loves Me all the time.

Well I was brought up in the lds church. So my parents brought me up in the gospel. My testimony and knowledge of Heavenly Father and His Son was built through spiritually experiences and continual study of the scriptures throughout my life. Basically I have been a Christian all my life, bu there was one point when I gained my own personal testimony of God our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ, and didn’t lean on the testimony of My parents anymore. Especially after coming on a mission. My testimony has grown so strong while preparing for and while I have been on my mission. It has been so awesome and the best thing i have ever done. My mission has solidified my testimony, not that I don’t have to keep the fire burning, but there is definitely there. Well anyway, that is all I will say for now. Jesus Christ is my best friend and I love my Father in Heaven very deeply and have a very very close relationship with him. Okay I am done. maybe not, they are so real! He is truly our Father and Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He died for us on the cross and his alive now, and waiting for us to take advantage of what he did for us. Okay now I am done, God bless!

So can you tell me more about the nondenominational church?

    • I’ve been in Arizona less than two years and attend the church my new husband attends. The pastor of this church was influenced much by the late Kenneth Hagin and Rhema Bible School. The authority of the believer as taught in the New Testament is emphasized a lot, as well as the importance of the words we speak. Healing is taught as a part of redemption. As the Bible teaches, we are healed by His stripes. Since I’ve been here, I’ve been healed of several health conditions, one that plagued me almost my entire life. I am very interested in learning all I can about healing. I hope to share with others how to receive healing. I’ve learned much in these last several years that I wish I’d known all my life.

Joseph Prince is my favorite preacher online. His congregation is in Singapore. His teaching on grace is exemplary. If you want to love the Lord more than ever, learn about the purity of grace brought to us by Jesus Christ. This grace teacher/preacher connects the Old and New Testaments by bringing to light many of the shadows that pointed to New Testament blessings. We are a blessed people.

We are a blessed people and I love reading or learning about grace, it is such a simple and beautiful concept. Well thank you for sharing that insight about your church and everything you have been learning lately. Grace and the healing we receive through the Atonement of Jesus Christ is an incredible and beautiful gift. I absolutely love reading or hearing and learning about the Grace of God that comes through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I like to go onto my church’s website and strum through some of the really good articles or videos that are on there about grace or courage, or being a better missionary or just whatever it may be. There are some really good stuff on there too! If you are interested, you should check it out, there are some stuff on there I really think you would enjoy. For instances they put out a video this april about the Resurrection of Christ for Easter, it is so good! If you ever feel like being uplifted tremendously, you should watch it. The link is, just incase you do every feel like watching it, https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2015-04-1010-he-lives-celebrate-easter-because-jesus-christ-lives?lang=eng
Thank you for standing up for what you believe in and letting others know about the goodness of God. 🙂 God bless you and let me know what you think of the video if you ever get the chance to see it. 🙂

He is! I love Him very much, He is my close friend, companion, and Redeemer and if it were not for Him, I truly would not be anything without Him and anything good in my life is because of Him and without Him I would not be the person I am today! He is everything to me and He truly is the Life and light of the world and there is not anything good in the world that comes except by or because of Him. I know Him because of prayer and because of scripture study and because of The Church of Jesus christ of Latter-day Saints. I hope all is well with you.

Good for you, you are a great person Carol! Hey Carol, would you been interested in learning more about our church? If not that is okay I understand and still want to be friends with you, I just thought I would ask just in case because if it were me, I would be too shy to ask and if people really do want to learn about something they sometimes are afraid to ask. I hope you are having a great day!

    • I understand that LDS goes by a book other than the Bible. I’ve learned all I know about the Lord by studying the Bible, hearing messages preached from the Bible, and reading books written by people that believe the Bible. I have read on the Internet that you have the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, and the two are not alike. I am glad to hear from you that Jesus is your Lord. One or both of us may be wrong about many things, but if we both know Jesus, we have something in common, even though there are vast difference in many matters. Are you aware of the differences between the Book of Mormon and the Bible? There are some basic and large differences. I see you as my sister and I am glad we are friends, but I must hold with the Bible that says on the very first page, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” I like the great power this implies. God spoke and the cosmos was born. There is nothing this great God of ours cannot do. Nothing is too hard for Him. I feel secure in the arms of an almighty God that loves me. Blessings to you and thank you for all your comments…
