Hardwood Flooring Project Is Finished – We Spent a Rainy Day at Home Relaxing – Pot Roast Baked Slowly in the Oven –

Flooring Finished

Steve did a great job installing engineered hardwood flooring throughout the game room, kitchen, living room, office, and hallways. He began the project many months ago and had to interrupt it for his hip replacement operation. Finally, the entire job is finished, and we are very glad.

Steve never stops working. When one job is complete, he finds another one. He would have toiled in the yard again today, but a steady rain watered our area the whole day, and it’s still raining as daylight fades. Puddles look strange to me in this land that is rarely wet.

A rainy day seemed right for a pot roast.

I enjoyed having a day when Steve and I could relax together.

We played pool, but only one game. Steve won.

    • Ha! Food always gets our attention. It was good. Tender, juicy, with rich gravy. The potatoes look like french fries, but they were roasted with the carrots in the oven. Thanks for stopping by, Carl. Blessings to you…
