Coffee in the morning starts my day. This Mr. Coffee coffee maker is the one I used when I lived in Texas. I came to Arizona and met and married Steve. He had a Keurig coffee maker and a rack full of special flavored coffees and famous blends. What fun it was to pick out my coffee in the morning!
Then we heard about the benefits of less acidic coffee made in a cold press. We purchased a coffee maker to produce coffee with less acid. I was a drinker of iced coffee, so it was easy to switch to cold brew. We both liked it and still do.
Now it is winter in Arizona, and mornings are a lot colder than before. I find that cold coffee chills my body. What to do? I could have gone back to our Keurig had it not stopped working a month ago. We could have purchased another one, but the one that quit functioning was Steve’s second, and they are very expensive.
The time had arrived for me to get my Mr. Coffee coffee maker off the shelf and brew a pot of hot java. I’m really enjoying hot coffee in the mornings again. I paid $16.00 for this coffee brewer two years ago, and I saw one at Walmart last week that was marked $16.00. It’s good to know if it breaks down, I can afford to purchase another one, and it makes excellent tasting coffee, too.
Do you like coffee in the morning or is another beverage your choice? If you like coffee, how do you make it? Cold press, Keurig, automatic drip, or the old fashioned perk pot? Just wondering.
Yes! to coffee in the morning. Bonnie’s is black and I like a hazelnut flavor added in. We have a Melitta coffee maker with a carafe rather than a glass pot.

Ah, that carafe probably keeps your coffee nice and hot for you. I like cream in my coffee, but I drank it black for many years. Then one day I switched to cream and then went back to black again. I’ve been using cream for five or six years of late. I also like flavored coffees. I like hazelnut and some others. Thanks for your comment. Blessings to you and Bonnnie…
