Captured By Your Love

 

Somewhere beyond the blue
Before we ever knew –
Salvation’s plan
Our Father drew –

I’m captured by Your Love –
Held in rapture thinking of
The way You care for me –
The way You comfort me –

Love created me and you –
Designed our rescue too –
Son of God
Became the blame –

Jesus – Lamb of God – Why
Didn’t You let us die –
We broke
Your law –

I’m captured by Your Love –
Held in rapture thinking of
The way You care for me –
The way You comfort me –

Love would not condemn us –
Rather justice forced
The innocent
To die –

Victory achieved for me –
You arose and live –
Clothing us with
Righteousness –

I’m captured by Your Love –
