Blue Skies Are Soon to Return to Arizona with the Scheduled Cessation of Monsoon on September 30 – Will Monsoon Leave as Predicted – YES – Yes – yes – Most Likely It Will –

Blue skyToday, September 24, we enjoy a clear blue expanse! No sign of storms up there today! Perhaps Arizona Monsoon is finished playing tricks and sending dust and rainstorms for this year. We will see.

Monsoon Skies

Arizona Monsoon begins June 15 and ends September 30. Like spring, summer, autumn, and winter, typical conditions of a season may or may not begin and end exactly on the set day. So it is with Arizona Monsoon. This stormy season is set to end September 30. I eagerly await the day and hope by then Monsoon conditions will have left us for another year. The photo above shows a typical monsoon sky. Sometimes the clouds during monsoon are fluffy and white. Often they are dark and gloomy. Goodbye for another year, Arizona Monsoon…

That’s similar to our hurricane season, though it runs June to November. Usually it abides by the rules set before it…usually.

    • I think Monsoon will obey the rules, too. While a monsoon storm may cause flooding and wind damage, most of the people most of the time will not be hurt, but the potential for property damage and personal injury is there. Blessings to you, Patti…
