Such a headline gets attention. We may believe it or not. People sometimes get stuck in consideration mode. Is that you?
If we believe the truth, we see ourselves within the framework of truth.
John 8:32 – The Bible (ASV) – and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
(If you see yourself ugly even though someone that loves you says you are beautiful, you will remain ugly in your own eyes unless you believe the one that tells you otherwise.)
God says He loves us. Jesus, the Son of God, accomplished our salvation and demonstrated God’s love for us on the cross of Calvary. Christ crucified proves the value and the depth of God’s love.
Salvation comes embedded with benefits, evidence of God’s great love and desire to bless us bountifully. Consider and believe.
John 3:16 – The Bible (ASV) – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 10:9-10 – The Bible (ASV) – I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture. The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
John 14:12-14 – The Bible (ASV) – Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do.
