Although Buddy for David (proposed title) stars a Great White Pyrenees, the book is not about a dog. It’s about a boy and his family. It’s about two lawless men that plan to enrich themselves by selling innocent eight-year-old David. It’s about love, fear, faith, and hope, and victory in the face of disaster. Yes, it’s about an amazing boy and a vagrant, cuddly, white dog. Events that lead to the satisfying conclusion of this saga also involve two young women that find their way unexpectedly into David’s world.

I really do wish you well. I hope to have first vol of 100 cartoons out few weeks. I has been very expensive. First find someone that will produce image only. createspace/amazon will but was $8 per page to set up full color plates and about $4 a page to be sized to fit as every pic different size. Not like print where text is simple and margins all pages the same. I did design my own covers but there were fees there too for set up. I was not able to upload to their protocols and submitted 104 pages in disc which they reformatted with fee. The books will cost about $11 each to manufacture, amazon wants $4 cut so in order to make just $2 a book royalty book must sell at $17. I think many will consider that steep but this is not a mere comic book but 100 full color plates of art work. I have material ready for two more books and 1/4 material for a fourth book. I will need to save up money for costs and hopefully have next two or three out in next 12 months. I has been a long hard road with many disappointments over the years to get to this point but I am near the end now toward release. It’s my baby but I think giving birth to 30 sets of twins may have been easier.
