This Trouble Too Shall Pass

The One that died for me
And you –
The Faithful One
So true –
I’m counting now
On you – Jesus

My heart is broke in two –
Such pain
You bore for us
You do
Care – I know
You do – Jesus

The grief, the fear, the tear,
The hope –
The hope –
Clinging to
The hope
In You – Jesus

All the good gifts from
Heaven
That came
Will come – wait
For You –
I do – Jesus

Time to rest in peace
Knowing –
Trusting –
You are mine –
Keeping
Me safe – Jesus

This trouble too shall pass –
Lead me
Through the
Valley- Praise
For you
Faithful Jesus

Yea, though I walk through
The valley …
I will
Fear no evil –
For You are
With me – Jesus

Psalm 23 – The Bible – The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

What hope we have in Him who gave everything that He could bring us to Himself and keep us forever close.

    Beautiful poem Carol Ann.

    • Yes, God is good. Jesus is LORD. I’m trusting most of the time, but I have my moments. I need a little time to get my feet on solid ground again. My life is changing, and I must meet the challenge. Blessings to you…

Lovely poem, Carol Ann. And the 23rd Psalm, always a favorite. I was just noticing your header picture. I hadn’t noticed the single person walking the lane, nor what appears to be a pair of sheep in the field. Interesting…

    • I had to look at the header picture since you mentioned it. The single man looks lonely. He may not be, but being suddenly single makes me think he would be. Johannes and I, we were one. Now part of me is missing. I feel scattered sometimes. I thank God for Jesus. He fills up the loneliness when it swoops down on me. He brings me back to myself again. Blessings to you, Patti…

    • Thank you, Janna. I weep, and then I am surrounded by the Love of Jesus. Jesus never fails. Why doesn’t that good feeling stay with me? I guess my thoughts turn again to my loss, how I miss Johannes, and to the uncertainties ahead of me, and like Peter when he walked on the water, I sink. I don’t have bad days, just bad moments, and sometimes a longer than moments, but I’m coping. Thank you very much for your prayers. Blessings to you…

    • Thank you, Julia. Your post about the challenge of bipolar disorder in your life touched my heart. I appreciated the list of bipolar people and their contributions to our lives. How enlightening to know that so many famous and talented people are who they are and do what they do while coping with the extreme emotions of bipolar. Blessings to you, Julia…
