Let the Weakling Say I Am Strong

You are the One LORD –
Only You –
You heal the sick –
You make the weakling strong –

You are the One LORD –

Only You –
You make the
Elderly clap his hands

You are the One LORD –

Only You –
When you speak
Cowardly spirits run

You – LORD – are the One
Only You

Joel 3:10 – The Bible (NIV) – Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, “I am strong!”

Psalm 47:1-2 – The Bible (NIV) – Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the LORD Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth.

Psalm 103:1-5 – The Bible (NIV) – Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

James 2:19 – The Bible (NIV) – You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

UPDATE:
Johannes is doing better and getting stronger. It seemed that there was almost no progress for a long time. Now he seems to be getting in touch with his muscles again. I am rejoicing and hoping to be able to take him home soon. I’m not sure what soon would mean, but I want soon to be soon. I’ll trust God and wait. Thank you all for your prayers, which have brought about this blessing.

    Carol Ann–
what encouraging news. sometimes things move at a snail’s pace…yet we must remember God’s in charge of the snail! 🙂
I have been praying for you and Johannes. I know God’s hand is over and around and underneath you both, supporting, comforting, lifting.

    James 1:2-8 (the message)

2-4Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.

5-8If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.

    blessings,
    jane

    • God is good. He deserves all the praise. Without His mercy and grace, I’d be sad all the time. Jesus is my strength. He gives me joy. My tears fall, but they dry up and are forgotten like dew that evaporates with the sunshine. Thank you for encouraging me. Blessings to you…

It can be frustrating when things don’t happen at the pace we want them to. I admire how you are able to not lose sight of the fact that God is in control. I am glad Johannes is showing some improvement. Still praying for you both…
