Baby birds rest in their nest –
They don’t fret or worry –
Yet a predator may make
Them orphans
A fawn stands by his mother’s side
Nourished – He follows her –
But if she dies – the fawn’s
Forsaken
A mother lovingly holds her child –
She rocks her babe to sleep –
But even she may go away –
Some do
We lie down and fall asleep –
Resting in Your salvation –
Jesus – You never let go –
Not ever

John 10:27-30 – The Bible (KJV) – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.
Isaiah 49:14-16 – The Bible (KJV) – But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Hebrews 13:5-6 – The Bible (KJV) – Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
There is so much uncertainty in the world, it is a nice reminder that God is always there for us. We just have to make the effort to connect with Him.

He’ll never let go. A good reminder for those who feel like God is distant. I saw a cartoon once of a large rock in the midst of water. The caption asks, if you feel distant from God, who moved? Blessings to you, Carol.

How cute a cartoon! It’s true. God is with us. We just need to believe it and act like it. When we seek His face, He shows us how to clear the distractions that blur our view of Him. Thank you for your wise comment. Blessings to you, Patti…

He is there. Sometimes when I m out of sorts, grumpy, or my attitude has been getting worse in the last few days I realize I haven’t been talking to Jesus… even though He is there. And He is still there when I ignore Him, waiting for me to call upon Him for help.
