I am trying to remember the hymn with El Shaddai. I have probably heard it. The many names of God in the Bible reveal much about the complexity and sufficiency of His being. There are many more names of God in the original language of the Bible. I used only a few of them.

I went to Google and found El Shaddai by Amy Grant. I don’t believe I’ve heard it before, but it is a beautiful song. In my church in Orlando our pastor preached a series on the names of God. There were a couple of songs that the praise team sang during this series. I can’t remember the names, but it wasn’t this one. I love all the different names for God that each say something special about Him and His ways. El Shaddai means “God of the Mountains or Almighty God”. Blessings to you, Patti…
