Lamentations 3:22-26 ā It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

I’m not good at quietly waiting either, and I’ve tried everything else. Nothing else has the blessed outcome that He gives. God is faithful. I love that old hymn, Great Is Thy Faithfulness.
Oh how I needed this today, too, Jeanne.

Thank you, Jane. I go looking through the pages of scripture looking for what I need to bring a smile to my soul. I find it and share it. Maybe we all need everything God has to offer all the time. Everything we need He has for us and freely pours it out.
Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. Blessings to you…

So true! I find that non-believers struggle with so much emptiness. I’m glad I have God to fill me up! š

I agree, Laura. I don’t know how anyone endures life without Jesus.
I can’t remember the name of the song, but it has a verse or a chorus that comes to my mind after reading your comment:
Here’s my cup, Lord, I lift it up Lord. Come and quench this thirsting of my soul. Bread of Heaven feed me ’till I want no more; Here’s my cup, fill it up and make me whole…
Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. Blessings to you…
