Crack the Hard Cases LORD

Praises to You LORD for You
Alone can do the impossible
You alone can tame the wild
Ones – You alone are God

Crack the hard cases LORD –
The ones that break our hearts –
I’d be lost forever except You
Chased me and wore me out

Do to them as you did to me –
You broke me like You’d rein
A wild horse – You Whisperer –
You trained me to chill out

LORD of LORDS – KING of
KINGS – give them your shout –
Blast fire on them from your snout –
Praises from them wring out

As you shine the light on Calvary –
As they recognize their God
Shedding blood to save them
From everlasting doom –

Sweep them up to glory land –
Show them the bride and groom –
Show them how You rose again –
How from death you bloomed

Wrap them in Your love the way
You did me – LORD – please –
How can we go to Heaven
Without bringing these

Thank you Father – Thank you JESUS

Psalm 150 – The Bible (KJV) – Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Matthew 7:7-11 – The Bible (KJV) – Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Psalm 127 – The Bible (KJV) – Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

  1. “You chased me and wore me out” In my stubbornness to commit my all. He chased, He waited, He picked me up and kept coming. And now I finally surrender to what I should have embraced from the beginning.

    • Blessings to you, Carl. God is faithful and true. He pursues us with His love, His nudges, and if necessary, His bruises, to lead us to victory. He never forces us, though; we must choose yea or nay. I thank Him for helping us see clearly the issues. Thank you for visiting and for your comment. I appreciate it very much.

This is so beautiful Carol. I love that God pursues us for a relationship.

I love the image that has formed in my mind after reading. The image of a child being chased by a father much like a game of Tag until the child just falls to the ground exhausted and then the father gathers the child into His arms and carries the child into the comfort, warm and security of His home.

I have daily issues with stubbornness, wanting to have things my own way. When I let God have control of my thoughts, tongue and day they go so much better.

Blessings to you dear friend, Jeanne

Yes, Sis, He cracked me, broke me, “chased me and wore me out” too! Carl, Jane, Jeanne, praise God for Christ taking us as his bride! He does indeed “whisper us” with a “still small voice” and shows us a glimpse of His kingdom.
    Good imagery! Thank you!

    • Thank you, Patti. It was concern for these lost ones that inspired the post. You are the first to notice. The focus has been mostly on God’s great love for us. God has a purpose in the comments calling attention to His love. I’m glad you picked up on the great need of people for God’s intervention in their lives. Thank you, Patti. Blessings to you…
