Faithful and True
There’s none like You
You alone gave us
Your life to save us
You shed your blood
The crimson flood
God’s beloved Son
Loyal One
Faithful and True
There’s none like You
Who alone feeds us
You cover and defend us
You alone send us
Spring and summer
Autumn and winter
You alone
Faithful and True
You show us Your might
In storm at night
In flashing light
And crashing thunder
You speak – we hear
Your strong voice
Your whisper
Faithful and True
Your people love You
We crave Your face
In darkness Your grace
Sustains us like
Nectar for bees
Like rain for trees
Abundant
Faithful and True
Your people love You
Jesus – you proved
Your love unmoved
Carries us through
Pestilence famine –
Even death
Obeys you

John 1:1 – The Bible – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Revelations 19:11-16 – The Bible – And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
1 Corinthians 15:20-26 – The Bible – But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
We crave your face, in darkness, your grace.”
loved those lines (which I took out of context a bit, but that’s how they hit me…)
lovely, as usual…you make it so easy to draw close to God.

It is hard for me to look around at the beauty of nature and not recognize God’s hand in creation. Daily walks become prayer, too.

Faithful and True describe the LORD Jesus, and it is His title as he rides the white horse in the prophecy of the book of Revelations. His loyalty, great love, and unfathomable bravery, willingly suffering as one of us such agony on the cross, is breathtaking to think about. Thank you for stopping by and for praising the LORD with your comment. Blessings to you, Te’Kia…
