Hope – my soul’s manna
Brings springtime in my spirit
The silent sweet commencement
Of holy expectations borne
On wings of rising faith
I see you separate the clouds
I see sunshine bathing wounds
Festered feelings healing
Dying spirits alive again
My heart leaps within
Bruises you caused in love
To set your beloved free
Fade now but instead of scars
Blossoming in beauty I see
Your image more perfectly
Your long awaited harvest comes
Your reapers gently haul it in
There’s none like you LORD
Who saves the souls of the
Children of men
My heart you comfort once again
My spirit soars – my heart embraces
The range of your mercy and grace –
I ponder this within as praise hastens
Whom the LORD loves He chastens
Amen Selah!

Hebrews 12:6-11 – For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. If ye endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
What a lovely praise to our Father God! I will come back to visit your blog again. You definitely have a gift. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent with the world! May God bless and keep you!

As a chastened child we so often pout at being stopped in our tracks. But when we realize that the chastening means God loves us enough to care how we live, it puts it all into a new perspective. God is good indeed!

Yes, God is good. He is indescribably past wonderful and awesome; He is divine. I’ve seen some good signs in my family, my son and my daughter and grandchildren. I could hear the LORD saying to me, didn’t I tell you to wait and watch? I hope the darkest days are past, but I’ll keep waiting and watching. Blessings to you, Carol…

Even when we’re all ‘grown up’ we’re still children needing that loving correction. Guess this is one way in which we never really grow up.

I am blessed to see you here this morning, Zoe. Yes, I think you are right. We will always need correction, less perhaps as years pass, until the day we are changed when the LORD comes. Below is a description of the time we call the rapture when Jesus returns in the clouds to pull believers out before the commencement of the Tribulation. We won’t need chastisement after this. There is so much in the Bible. I wish I could show more of it. It is amazing how much the Bible has to say and how awesome the future is. There is so much to look forward to.
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

I’m thankful to see you here every time you come. Your words are honey from a honeycomb, because your heart seeks after God. May your seeking be rewarded with precious revelation of all the truth that God has revealed throughout the ages. There is only goodness in God. There is no flaw. The heart of Jesus led Him to the cross to bear our sins. The Father has spoken reward for Him, giving Jesus all souls that trust in Him. He will reign forever as King of kings and LORD of Lords. May you reign with Him, Trisha. My prayers are always for you. Blessings today and always…

Blessings to you, Bonnie. Thank you for stopping by and for your comment. I want everyone to know how wonderful the Bible is and that our hope is written plainly in the Word. The Bible is amazing and tells of Jesus from Genesis to Revelations. All our hopes are written in it, all the promises, principles, all the ways of God we can know, and He wants us to know and grow. Your comment blesses me, Bonnie. I thank God for you.
