Thank you, LORD

Thank you for my husband
For another day and hour
Thank you, thank you

Thank you for technicians

For nurses and for doctors
Thank you, thank you

How you stayed so near us
Through every trying moment
Is so like you

Thank you for the trouble
That teaches us to trust you
Lamb of God

Thank you for my husband
For another day and hour
Thank you, thank you

By Carol Ann, wife of Johannes Hoel

Psalm 103:1-5 –

1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    • Thank you, Linda. It’s not like it was before it happened. At least not yet. He’s weak. He’s having a bout of diverticulitis. He’s home but it’s not over yet. This is complicated by his other issues. It will be a while before I get back to normal on my writing and blog. Blessings to you…

This lets me know I’ve got to do better in reading on my small inner-circle of friends. My circle is small… and I have no excuse. I’m so glad to hear of Johannes’ return home, and I know you are so happy and thankful for this. Blessings to you, my dear friend…
