Hush

Peace
A quiet spirit
A trusting heart
Jesus gives
His own
Amid
Storms that rage
Winds that blow
Thunder crashing
Waves that roar

Peace
Be still
My heart obeys
Your voice
You speak a Word
Storms that rage
Winds that blow
Thunder crashing
Waves that roar
Silence
For me

You have my heart
Your peace you give
Not the peace the world gives
But your peace
A quiet spirit
A trusting heart
Jesus gives
His own
Amid
The Storms

Peace Be Still
He says
He rules
Hush

    • Thank you, Chloe. I wrote it during a storm of life while that spirit of calm from the Lord washed over me as you describe. When times are tough, our shelter in the time of storm is real more than things we can touch and see. I praise Jesus for being my shelter in the storm. Thank you for visiting and for your kind comment. Blessings to you…
