Do Over

If I could do over
All that ever I did wrong
Over the course of my lifetime
Where would I begin

I remember countless blunders
And recall events gone wrong
The result of my misconduct
But

Upon reflection
I must ponder
What else I might have done
With the little wisdom
I possessed upon that day

I may wonder
What a second chance
Might do for me
Possibly a different version
Of the mess I first produced

God is good to give us hope
We know whatever happens
God can fix or use
For our good
Because He loves us
And nothing is too hard for Him

It’s so wonderful to know that He loves us in this way. It’s one of His father-like qualities, that when we fall it’s like He says- “that’s okay my beloved child. I’ll forgive you if you ask. Now, get back up and try again.” God such a good, good God. Thank goodness nothing is too hard for Him ’cause then, we’d all be in major trouble. Blessings to you carol.
