Though the towers were destroyed by a perverted heartless enemy, the memory of the people that lost their lives there and the pain their families endured will never be forgotten by the people of this country, the United States of America.
Land that I love
Stand beside her
And guide her
Through the night
With the light
From above
From the mountains
To the prairies
To the oceans
White with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home
Images of September 11, 2001,
vividly remain in the heart of a people that will never forget the senseless pain and the shedding of innocent blood or the selfless heroes that gave their lives to rescue many, nor excuse the heartless passion of twisted evil predators, nor relinquish the resolve to make our world a safer place from those who would do us harm.
Lovely, Carol Ann…
seems we are all caught in the web of memories and time today.

Yes, I saw so many remembrances that I felt it would be less than right to let it pass unmentioned. What a horror it was! And still is because the danger is still out there everyday. Thank you for stopping in, Jane.

It was such a tragic day. I remember I had a maths exam that day but I couldn’t study. I was glued to the television, watching the images unfold over and over again.
