Provider

We all have needs we cannot fill
We try so hard to find a way
When all the while
There’s only One
Provider
Any time
Anywhere
For anyone
Yet
So often we avoid this One
Fearing there’s a price to pay
When all the while
The price we’d pay to run away
Is a price no one should ever pay
Father God all-knowing
Caring mighty LORD
Jesus King of Kings
Provider
Who paid the price
The entire price
And offers grace
He is all we’ll ever need
He is God indeed

About Carol Ann Hoel

The new me - Carol Ann. More suitably said, the old me in new circumstances of life. Again. My history has developed in parts and chapters. In person, I am Wife, Mom, Grandma, Author, and Writer, in that order, more or less. Life is good because God is good.

Well said, Carol Ann, and a wonderful reminder when we’re mired down and can’t see past the muck of the world.

    • Thank you for stopping by my blog. I appreciate your visit and comment on my post. I bought your novel, Laura, and I’m a third of the way through “Bitter, Sweet”. My reading was interrupted by my husband’s medical event. He is doing fine now and I will begin reading again.

Carol Ann, that’s so sweet of you! I am continually in awe when complete strangers are so supportive. Writers do tend to be supportive of one another. Don’t they? 🙂 So glad your husband is doing fine now.

  6. I finished the book tonight. I shed tears several times during the course of the novel. Excellent work, Laura. I enjoyed it and learned something about the history of interior Nova Scotia.

  7. A very beautiful poem … and true. There is a toll to any road we walk. The question is do we want to walk that path alone, or with One who loves us? Thanks for liking my suggestion to Jade on her blog.

I pray your publication dreams come true. Roland
