Point of View

View overlooking courtyard taken from apartment window

Tall trees hold my gaze rapt in contrast of strong branches and fragile green leaves set against calm blue sky.

Beneath our second story point of view, courtyard lies cozily centered among sturdy structure, surrounded by which I feel safe and secure.

Leaves jiggling in a breeze, though silent from inside, rustle in my mind, moving me from this lofty place toward heaven.

Oh, thank you so much Bonnie. I felt so lonely looking at these pictures, wishing I could live in a place like that. When you mentioned the word treehouse, I remembered the huge one I’ve got out in the woods spanning across three trees. I feel better now. ^^

  7. An actual tree house! Do you ever just sit in your tree house and take in the scenery? I go outside in the early morning before it gets hot, sit on a bench, and drink a cup of coffee while listening to the birds chirping and experiencing cool breezes stirring my hair. I put on mosquito repellent, of course, or I would experience something dreadful!
